HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148dw

Hey,

I was wondering if it's possible to connect my printer (HP LaserJet Pro M148DW) to a keypad in which when something is printed, they need a code (just one, unless a function where multiple codes can be set is available) to print the document. Is this possible? I've seen other printers with them. Thank you for any help possible!

With HP, basic pin printing is a function of the driver. The challenge is that the printer must have enough memory to store jobs. If there is a standard USB port on the back, then you should be able to plug in a USB memory stick and enable the feature. If you plug in a stick to that port it should prompt you, asking if you want to enable job storage. The user guide should also document the feature if it is on this model.
