trying to set default paper size to A4 on HP9130E printer for scan to email. Keeps defaulting to Letter. Have tried setting through EWS but not scan to email option available there. The front panel menu doesn't seem to have a set to default in the scan to email section....you choose A4 but it always go back to Letter for the next scan!

Welcome to the HP Community --
Setup can be a multi-part process --
- Create / Have ready your App Password to be used in place of the regular email login password
- Complete the Email Servers setup
- Set the Job Options (Defaults) - Set "Original Size"
- Create the Quick Set - Scan to Email Profile
For example ---
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
1) Section General > Email Servers
And, next
2) Section Scan > Scan to Email
Example - App Password to use with Scan to Email and EWS
EWS_General_Email_Servers_App-Password_2
Example - EWS - SMTP - Email Servers / Scan to Email Job Options
EWS_9135_Scan_to_Email_Default_Options_8
and
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Section Quick Sets > Add / Edit / Copy / Delete Quick Set Profile
Example - EWS - SMTP - Quick Sets - Scan to Email
