HP Envy 6010

I have just bought a new HP Envy 6010.

I was setting it up via the HP Smart app but couldn't remember my wifi password.

When I finally remembered it the set up on the app has changed and it is telling me to go to my wifi setting on my iPhone and select HP-Setup from the wifi list.

If I go to my wifi list I have a network called DIRECT-1A-HP ENVY 6000 series but it is asking for a password.

I have switched the printer off and on.

I have tried to put it in the purple set up mode.

It is so frustrating...........anyone know what to do.

thanks

@ArielleJ1, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

The default password for DIRECT-1A-HP ENVY 6000 is 1345678. This is wifi-direct. This is used when you do not have access to a wireless router.

For more info, refer to - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct
