HP OfficeJet 9012 All-in-One Printer

Hi! I am currently trying to setup my OfficeJet 9012. It was given to me by a friend and doesn't have any ink. It also can't connect to the wifi where I am because of how the network is setup(I am in college). I would like any advice anyone has on how to set it up as well as what kind of ink I should buy. I was thinking that I would need to have the cord that can connect the printer to my laptop but don't know which drivers to download on my computer. Does anyone have advice on which drivers I need to download? Also, does anyone know what kind of cord I need to purchase?

Hi @smooth4,

What operating system you use on your PC? please clarify so we may direct you to the required software.

 

You may buy a USB  printer cable to connect the printer directly to a computer, a such looks as following and can be purchased from any computing or office accessories store:
