HP OfficeJet Pro 8022e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Had the same problem as many before have mentioned.

Setting up secondhand, Error Code: UA_400_EB000U0410

It's solved for me now. After 2 weeks of trial and error and with help from HP support.

The issue is that the printer was linked to the user account of the previous owner.

Mind you that managing this link is only possible if the user account and printer are active on the same network!

1) Once that link was removed, the error kept on appearing.

Because the previous owner had an ink contract.

That contract is managed at a different place using the same user account and password.

2) Now one has to go to hpsmart.com, login and look for this specific printer.

3) First delete the (ended) contract and secondly remove the printer from this (previous) user account.

4) At last the printer can be linked to the new user account.

How to solve this without help from the previous owner, is unknown to me.

Perhaps that HP Support can explain how to solve these issues without involving the previous owner.
