HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-in-One Printer

When I try to set up the new printer it says the cartridge is missing or damaged. It is installed correctly and has been removed and reinstalled many times. I figured I’d just get a new cartridge, but then it requests that I install the setup cartridge.

I see you are experiencing cartridge issues with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-In-One Printer.  

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • With the new firmware, some printers may encounter an Incompatible, Incompatible Cartridges, or Defective Cartridges error on the printer control panel or computer after inserting a new Original HP ink cartridge and do not print.
