Hi @Klaudija130

The error code "EBSOOP0007" during the setup of a new HP printer can indicate a specific issue related to the setup process or the software environment. Here are some steps that might help resolve this setup issue:

  1. Restart the Setup Process: Close the setup program, restart your computer and printer, and try running the setup process again from the beginning.

  2. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your computer is connected to the internet. A stable internet connection is often required for downloading software and updates during the setup process.

  3. Update Software: Make sure you are using the latest version of the HP printer software. You can download the latest version from the HP Support website by entering your printer model.

  4. Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software that might be blocking the setup process. Sometimes security software can interfere with network communication during the setup.

  5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and use HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows to automatically troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  6. Check USB/Bluetooth Connection: If you are setting up the printer with a USB or Bluetooth connection, ensure that the connection is secure and that the printer is powered on.

  7. Clear Temporary Files: Clear your computer’s temporary files, as they can sometimes cause conflicts during setup:

    • On Windows, you can use Disk Cleanup or manually delete files in %temp%.
  8. Attempt Installation from Different Device: If possible, try completing the setup from a different computer or mobile device to see if the issue persists.

I hope this helps!
