Hi, my goal is to be able to use the internet, as I normally do, connected via a router, and then print files as needed without changing the connection to a printer.

I believe that the setup process with HP Smart is supposed to enable this to happen but I can't figure out how to do it.

I was able to connect to the printer directly by changing my WIFI connection from the router to the printer, "DIRECT-99-HP M15 LaserJet" but when I do this I lose access to the internet.

When I connect my computer back to the router, I am able to access internet again but the HP Smart app says that the M15w printer is unavailable.

How can I actually setup the printer so that I can use the internet and print without needing to connect to "DIRECT-99-HP M15 LaserJet" with my WIFI connection?
