HP 2015e suddenly showed a “validating”message on the touch screen, would not return to ready state. My wife bought new cartridges to install since low ink message warning messages had been showing up. I could not clear this message so I reset the printer to factory defaults. I then used HP Smart app to reinstall. All looks complete in the app until you try to print. Printer UI shows “setup incomplete” message. I have reinstalled the app, reset the printer, nothing works, every attempt to print results in “setup incomplete”on the printer UI. AAAAARRRGGG!!! This is ridiculous!
I see many others have encountered this and have had little luck getting help from HP to make this issue go away.
anyone find something that works. Did this same process from my iPad with the same results.
