a m209dw printer stopped working, saying setup needed to be completed. when trying to complete setup it does not work. reset the printer multiple times. and am unable to fully complete setup. also when i entered the serial number, it attached the wrong type of computer to my account. the support pages and virtual assistant have been worthless. not sure what to do, if i cannot resolve soon, will just get a different brand of printer, and then sell my extra toner cartridge on ebay.

after having read other posts on this issue, i think the only thing to do is not use hp. it is insane that you need to connect to the internet with an app that does not work properly just to print on a local machine. this printer worked for a long time before you all at hp decided to put out flawed software and basically ruined the printer.
