I have been successfully using my Photosmart 4795 printer on a Windows 10 computer.  I bought a Windows 11 computer and the Photosmart start up disk will not load and I can't find any way to install the drivers on this machine. HP support center does not list any drivers for this printer.  Any suggestion as to how I can set up this printer on my Windows 11 machine?

Hi @BreonTom_1-,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Great news! You can still use your HP Photosmart C4795 printer with Windows 11, even though the startup disk doesn’t work. HP provides drivers and software online that are compatible with the device.

Steps to Set Up HP Photosmart C4795 on Windows 11

  1. Go to the Official HP Driver Page:
👉 HP Photosmart C4795 All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

  2. Select Your Operating System:
    • Drivers for Windows 11 aren’t listed; choose Windows 10 (64-bit) — it’s usually compatible.

  3. Download the Full Feature Software:
    • Look for the “HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers” package.
    • Download and install it.

  4. Connect the Printer:
    • Use a USB cable for the initial setup.
    • Once installed, you can try switching to wireless if supported.

  5. Use Windows Built-in Drivers (if needed):
    • If the HP software doesn’t work, go to: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners → Add device.
    • Windows may automatically install a basic driver.

For built-in drivers, use the link. This will help: HP printer setup (Windows built-in driver) | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!

There is no "HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers" package listed. See screen shot below.  Can you send me a link?

Thanks
