Please help!
I have had the HP Officejet for years and recently changed the color cartridge. After doing so, and using the color printing option, I now have shadows behind my black ink. I have tried cleaning the printer heads, aligning the page, running a diagnostic, updating the software, and resetting the printer, (on a previous forum post) with no avail. I've tried changing the printer paper type, from different apps and tried plain black printing.
I'm wondering if there's something I haven't done? Or is it time to get a new printer? Should I spend the money to get this one fixed?
Thanks Much,
Tanuki

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
If the previous color cartridge was working fine, it could be a defective new color cartridge.
Do check if you can get the new color cartridge replaced from the place of purchase or contact HP Support for a replacement:

Note: Select the country accordingly to get the contact details for support.
Let me know if this helps.
