The shortcut on the screen doesn't lead anymore to the usual printing or scanning window, but is asking for connection of the cable between laptop and printer, although it is already connected.

(1) Check that a USB cable is connected between Deskjet printer and computer:

  • ferRX_0-1739156770651.png

 

(2) Then try to install with HP Print Doctor:

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.
