Product: HP Officejet Pro 8720
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hi,
I recently just purchased HP Officejet Pro 8720.
1) Should I turn off my printer when not in use?
I know that the printer offers sleep mode and schedule on/off.
But does it affect the ink and/or printer if I schedule off (every evening to morning) or power off the printer regularly?
2) Can anyone guide me on how to secure my printer?
Thank you!

I see. Thank you!
Secure the printer from being hacked?
If my wifi is secured with password, does it mean it is safe?
Sorry I am not good at this.
If the printer is on your Network with your computer and you have WA2-AES encryption, you are fine.
