HP Recommended

I was told by HP Support that you should not update the firmware for the HP Laserjet Pro M404dn by deploying it from HP WebJet Admin.  It needs to be done at the printer screen?  If so, why is their multiple firmware available to download into your Firmware Repository on the HP WebJet Admin firmware server for the M404?
