Sign in to HP deskjet 2600 series asking for a custom password to access the printer web interface

I’m trying to connect my printer to Wi-Fi and it’s in the process of connecting but then a box pops up and says sign in to HP DeskJet 2600 series and shows a custom password has been set for your printer enter the password to access the printer web interface

I understand that you want to reset the EWS password, I am glad to assist you.

Resetting the printer's network settings to its factory default settings erases the embedded Web server (EWS) administrator password.

Follow these steps to reset the printer to the factory default settings:-

Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel together for three seconds.

Login to the EWS page with the default credentials and change the password.

Username: admin

Password: "leave it blank"
