Product: HP DeskJet 2820e All-in-One Printer

I have just set up an HP2820e printer and I want to use Instant Ink. Do I have to leave my printer on all the time?

How can I put it into sleep mode?  Does this model have sleep mode?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are looking for information related to setting up sleep mode on your Printer.

 

Yes, the printer has to be turned on all the time to be connected to instant ink server.

However, you can put the printer in sleep mode and still use it without the printer getting disconnected.

 

Kindly refer to the steps on this link to change the sleep settings and let me know if that resolves the issue.
