Smart Tank 6001

Just picked up this printer today. Is there a way to leave this printer on all the time without it making noises every 10 to 15 minutes? I would really love to leave it on so that I don’t have to go and press the power button every time I need to use it, but it’s in a place where it’s annoying to have it keep making noises like it’s going to print even though it has no print job.

I've never used a Smart Tank printer -- noisy on occasion when the printer is performing maintenance is one thing -- a constant stream of interruptions does seem odd (to me).

Perhaps check whether there is any indication for a reason for the constant shifting about.

If the printer is otherwise performing as it ought -- that is, there are not odd errors, the printer works, and there are not reasons to suspect the printer is (for example) losing network connection,  perhaps consider adjusting the days and times the printer is switched on.  Scheduling the printer might help, for example, by having the printer in an "off" condition when you are sleeping, studying, working, or using Social Media.
