I am sick of the un-connectivity of the printer I bought. It's a HP Smart Tank 7000 Series and it's only a few months old. It is not a cheap machine and I bought it for the sustainability factor of no cartridges. My dilemma is that it is disconnected pretty much every second day - requiring reinstallation. It all of a sudden started needing a WPS code (which changes every 2 minutes) to reinstall and so now, every time I have to install it again (VERY often) it automatically prints out that code - talk about a waste of paper and ink!!!! Any good I was doing for the environment has gone down the drain!!  The usual problem is that it takes me twice as long to reinstall and then print something...I run a business and that's time also down the drain. Today's dilemma is that, even though it's reinstalling, it's giving me a message that there is no driver available. It goes through the installation process and then says "Driver Unavailable". I've now spent 1.5hrs trying to solve this. It's a joke and I wish I had never of bought it. Can someone please advise why this is happening - btw: it's not my network - I have plenty of other devices that connect and stay connected, my previous printer never dropped out at this rate (needed driver updating sometimes but nothing like this).
