While the status light glows amber, the front power on/off switch doesn't work, and control panel is not illuminated on my new 7602. 

When it was set-up last week, it aligned the printhead and printed a test page. Since then, nothing.

I've pushed the wi-fi button in the back, put paper on the glass to scan, tried many tips from the forum and HP. Nothing. Help.

I'd like to help!

 

Perform a power reset

Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures. 

Turn on the printer, if it is not already on. 

Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue. 

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. 

Wait at least 30 seconds.

 

If this does not help, then the printer needs to be checked for hardware.
