I can not find the Photosmart C4480 software and drivers for Windows XP 32 on your website and I do not have the installation CD. Please help me.

Hi... Thanks. I've downloaded and unzipped all those files. Ran the .exe's. Unplugged my USB. Restarted the Win XP laptop. Re-connect USB. ...And the laptop still doesn't see the printer.

 

This laptop has operated other printers before.

 

It had old printer drivers on it. I've uninstalled all other printer software and drivers. The "Printers and Faxes" in the Start menu shows no printer installed. Looking at a file and clicking Print shows no printer available. 

 

When I go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel, I *see* the C4480 Software and Driver! But I can't find it in the Programs directories.

 

When I plug in the USB cable I get the Found New Hardware Wizard that says "USB Composite Device" detected. I tell it to install the software automatically. It searches forever, finding nothing.
