Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Can you download and install the FULL featured printer software from HP for your operating system :
HP Deskjet 2700
HP Deskjet Plus 4100
Do note and follow the video below for getting the HP FULL software.
This resource is for HP Deskjet Plus 4100 series, applicable for HP DeskJet 2700 series as well.

(you can also use an Android or iOS phone to connect printer to the network with HP Smart app)
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
