You link does not allow me to send you a private message. 

I am also seeking to install drivers for my c309a printer/scanner on my Mac running macOS 11.1. The regular HP drivers will not install because they are 32 bit. The HP Easy Start program failed as well. I can send a log file if you give me a link. Thanks for trying to help.

Problem resolved! Installed the driver for my HP C309a on my Mac running macOS 11.1 and the printer and scanner are working again.
