Yes, you can install and run your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125 on a desktop running Windows 11 Home. Here are the steps to install the printer:
1. Download the Latest Drivers and Software
- Go to the HP Support page.
- Enter "HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125" in the search bar and select your printer from the list.
- Ensure Windows 11 is selected as the operating system.
- Download the full feature software and drivers package for your printer. This package typically includes the printer driver, scanner driver, and any necessary utilities.
2. Install the Printer Software
- Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder) and double-click it to start the installation process.
- The installation wizard will guide you through the process. Follow the prompts to install the software and drivers.
- When prompted, connect your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125 to your desktop using a USB cable.
- The installation wizard should automatically detect the printer and complete the installation.
3. Set Up the Printer
- After the installation is complete, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners to verify that your printer is listed.
- If you want this printer to be your default printer, select it in the Printers & scanners menu and click on Set as default.
4. Test the Printer:
- Right-click your printer in the Printers & scanners menu and select Printer properties.
- Click on Print Test Page to ensure everything is working correctly.
I hope this helps.
