Product: Laserjet M1217nfw MFP (All-in-one)
Operating System: macOS 10.13 High Sierra

I know this in old printer but still works great.  I think I need a software update because when I go to the HP director to use a module it get this message for example…

“HP Scan” is not optimized for your Mac."

 

Is there an update available for this printer?  I don;t see one.

Hi,
Follow HP Easy Start below to install your latest HP Essential Software and HP Easy Scan application for your operating system
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

Finally, ensure your drivers are up to date by clicking the Apple icon, select About this Mac and then press Software Update.
Click Store on the top menu bar, click Reload Page, click Update All if any updated are available.
