I updated to Catalina on my MacBook Pro and started to have an issue with the scanning from the Flatbed using HP Easy Scan.
The printer I have is an HP Officejet Pro 8720. HP have after a couple of months they just fixed the problem.
It took way too long.
Luckily for HP I really like this printer. Its one of the best I have had and now it and the software is working properly I am much happier.
I think you could have handled it better.
Thank you.

Hi,
Sorry for your frustration, but not any issue can be easily resolved by the hardware manufacturer, and HP kept working on this issue together with Apple to get a resolution.
To remind you, the issue been resolved with the latest Catalina 10.5.3 update, not with any recent driver or software update by HP, there was an issue with the operating system itself which got fixed with the latest operating system update.
I am not speaking on behalf of HP nor representing HP, just sharing my opinion, keep in mind that not any issue is related to the software at all, and this is something to verify or considering prior to installing an operating system as soon as being released...
