Here's a solution:
Enter "View Installed Updates" in the Windows search bar. It will show an option in the Control Panel.
Click on the shown option.
Select the "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB3132372)" and an Uninstall option will appear next to the Organize dropdown.
Click on Unistall and work through any prompts.
Once unistalled, the HP Solution Center will work.

Noticed same issue today on my WIN 10 Dell XPS 8700. Tried multiple solutions until I found Lacerz's solution - and it works like a charm!!!! Too bad it occurred in the first place. Anyoone have an idea if HP is going to upgrade Solution Center or if MS is going to correct their update?

Verified it is the MS WIN 10 Security update for Internet Explorer Flash Player. Tried my WIN 10 laptop that had not been updated and Solution Center worked. Installed the Windows update and Solution Center stopped working. Uninstalled the Security update and Solution Center worked. Thanks again to Lacerz.

Hi @Lacerz,
Thanks for posting the solution.
We've informed the relevant teams to look into this (working with Microsoft)
It might be a while before the solution comes out but the steps to resolve the issue works for now!
Do take note users may be vulnerable if they are using IE without the update.
Thanks!

Thanks Lacerz. Like all other users of this post Microsoft's update cost me several hours and a lot of frustration trying to solve the problem. Thanks for letting all of us know the correct solution. It is so simple and works directly, without even having to restart the computer.
P.S. What I don't understand is why HP doesn't put this solution on their website for everyone to see. [It always puzzles me why IT companies like HP or Microsoft let forum members come with up with a solution ...]
