Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw

Problem: When clicking on the links to download the HP user guide or any other manual, the file that downloads is not readable by Acrobat Reader. Chat support insists there is nothing wrong, the download "works fine."

 

I actually have found why the manuals won't download, no thanks to HP. The website tries to download the manual over an HTTP link when the original connection is an HTTPS link. The three browsers that I tried all balked over the potential "security risk." One browser (FireFox) allowed me to override this and actually download the file. When I did this, the PDF arrived on my desktop safe and sound. If anybody at HP is listening I wish they would fix this.
