I am having the same problem trying to login to the Smart HP app in Windows 11 Pro 64-bit.

I have made sure that in Chrome, Third Party Cookies are enabled for hpsmart.com and hp.com.

My system time is set to the correct time and time-zone.

I have rebooted my printer and workstation, I have cleared my browser cookie cache, and I have uninstalled and re-installed HP Smart from the MS App Store.

The x-request ID information from the error is:

I am having this same problem.  I am using the HP Smart desktop app on Windows 11 trying to scan documents on my HP LaserJet M234sdw.  When I click the "Scan" button in the app, it makes me login to my HP account for some reason.  So, I tell it I want to sign in and it opens a new window in my default browser (chrome) where I can login to my HP account.  I enter my credentials and get the same error as the OP.

I can open a different chrome window and go to the HP.com site and login with no problems.  As a matter of fact, I am logged in right now and entering this comment.  The issue seems to be with the HP Scan app and whatever means it is using to try to get me to login.

This is very frustrating because I can't scan, even though my computer is working, my scanner is working and my network is working.   I have tried on a macbook and get similar results.  The HP Scan app sits there saying "Loading HP account", but it won't load.
