Laserjet Pro 125nw

Hello Community, 

 

I justb bought a brand new Hp laserjet Pro 125nw printer but in the course of the installation process, i got this error message:

 

Supply memory missing on black cartridge

Unable to read cartridge data . Any printer repair required as a result of using cartridges with unreadable cartridge data is not covered under warranty. Supply status and features depending on supply status will not be available. 

 

Is this normal or does this mean that the dealer from whom  i bought the printer replaced the original cartridge?

Hi Ken,

A Supply memory error most likley occuor due to remaining packing materials on the cartridge or the cartridge may failed.

 

Please ensure any packing material been fully removed from the cartridge and check if tha may resolve the issue:

Hi Shlomi,

 

Thank you very much for youe quick respponse and assistance. 

 

I have checked the cartridge and found out that we removed 2 but forgot 1. 

 

I have now removd it and all is well.
