Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I set a password for this printer and I have forgotten it.

Is there any way I can:

  1. Recover the password,
  2. Reset the password?

Please advise

@AEVZAR,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.

This is a great place to get support, find answers

I understand that you are in need of support.

No worries, I'll be glad to help you.

Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the product and network settings to the factory defaults. It

will not reset the page count, tray size, or language. To restore the product to the factory-default settings,

follow these steps

1.On the product control panel, press or touch the Setup button.

2.Open the Service menu.

3.Select the Restore Defaults option, and then press or touch the OK button.

The product automatically restarts.

Do get back to me as I have a few more tricks up my sleeve. Said that, if I have helped you resolve the issue.

If you like to appreciate my efforts clicking on 'Accepted as Solution'

Feel free to give me a virtual high-five by clicking the 'Thumbs Up'

Have a great day Ahead!
