Hi,

Generally, the printer is supported on Mac OS X 10.9 or later, using a Generic driver with unsupported operating systems may cause such an issue:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-7740-wide-format-all-in-one-printer-series/768...

First, open the paper tray and load the Tabloid paper in portrait orientation, be sure to adjust the tray extension and adjust the guide for Tabloid size:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-7740-wide-format-all-in-one-printer-series/768...

Close the tray and evaluate the shown prompt, if any other size is listed click on No or Modify and change the Paper Size to Tabloid, it may also appear as Ledger, ANSI B or select Custom Size (Tabloid, ANSI B or Ledger all equal to 11 x 17 inches) if you cannot see Tabloid or 11 x 17 (Inches) listed.

From the Mac, make sure that Tabloid or 11 x 17 Inches paper size is selected and print the job again, be sure to Resume the printer by clicking the Resume Printer button on the print queue, or cancel the print job and then reprint it with a proper configuration.

If it fails, try printing from another computer with a supported operating system and check for any difference, it may not offer the printer capabilities due to the incompatibility with Snow Leopard.

Thank you for your reply Shlomil.

I suppose that it's a direct incompatibility with the operating system cause I did all that thing with the trays. No result!

Therefore, any 11X17 format is listed in the page setup either.

Is there an alternative for a supported driver.

Best Regards
