HP Smart Tank 7605 All-in-One

My HP smart tank says The HP software is setting up your printer. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times. I have taken out the printer heads twice. I have removed the power cord after taking out the printer heads.

I understand you're experiencing difficulty setting up your HP Smart Tank 7605 All-In-One printer despite multiple attempts to uninstall, reinstall, and troubleshoot. 

 

Here are a few additional steps you can try to resolve the issue:

 

  • Check System Requirements: Ensure that your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the HP printer software. You can find this information on the HP website or in the printer's user manual. HP Smart Tank 7605 All-in-One
  • Update Operating System and Drivers: Make sure your computer's operating system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Additionally, ensure that you have the most recent drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.  Software and Drivers for HP Smart Tank 7605 All-in-One
  • Connectivity: Ensure that the printer is connected to your computer properly via USB cable or through your network if it's a wireless printer. If you're using a wireless connection, ensure that both the printer and your computer are connected to the same network.
  • Firewall and Antivirus: Sometimes, security software can interfere with the installation process. Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software while installing the printer software and see if that resolves the issue. Remember to re-enable them afterward.
  • Run HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP provides a diagnostic tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor, which can help identify and resolve common printer issues. You can download and run this tool from the HP website to diagnose any potential problems with your printer setup.
