LaseJet P1102s

I tried downloading the driver for my printer from the HP website, but when I try to set it up it shows the error saying it only works with macOS 12.0 or older. MacOS 12.0.1 has been out for over two weeks now, is the company like HP unable to update their devices' drivers on time? What should I do? My 4-year old printer is a useless piece of furniture at this point

@VladPotekhin

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If those drivers are not listed, try these:

Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for the reply.

I've tried Guteprint before, but I couldn't find any drivers for LaserJet P1102 series there.

Have a look at the other threads posted about this for a solution. The printing system has hardly changed between BigSur and Monterey and it is not that the drivers are not available, but that the installer is blocked.  If you had installed in Big Sur and upgraded as we have on one of our computers you can print. Utter madness to be sent to a third party for a solution in this situation, when all that is needed is a small code change in the installer, at least in the P1102 scenario.
