Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The printer is plugged in to the wall outlet. I checked it with a meter, 115VAC is there, the power cord is good, power to the plug in the back of the machine, it will not come on when the off/on switch is pushed.

Based on experience with this series either a bad power supply or a failed board. If you get no signs of life at all, even a momentary flicker from a fan or the control panel, I would start with the power supply. Sadly, HP does not offer this part for sale so you are stuck looking at aftermarket or used for spares.
