Product: HP OfficeJet 9012 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

The printer keeps trying to do a download randomly on it's own and then shows "Download Unsuccessful"   and "The printer update could not be downloaded".    There are 2 soft buttons,  "Retry" and "Ok".   If I hit "Retry" it tries to download and fails.  If I hit "Ok" it eventually gives me the start screen after a long printer check sequence, but 5 mins later it goes back into update mode and tries to download and fails.    

 

I am able to print to it by choosing HP Smart Printing as the printer, but not if I choose the actual printer.   The wireless connection is fine and I have tried the unplug and restart several times.... of both the printer and HP laptop.
