I've unplugged and plugged back in. I've held the power button for 15 seconds several times. I've plugged it into different wall outlets with out power strips or extension cords. No matter what I have done it won't turn on.

Hi @Ak5124,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you've already taken some solid troubleshooting steps, but since your HP printer still won't turn on, here are a few additional things you can try.

Inspect the Power Cord: Check for any damage or wear on the power cord itself. If you have another compatible power cord available, try swapping it out to see if the cord might be faulty.

Check the Power Module (if applicable): Some HP printers have an external power module (a block between the wall outlet and the printer). Ensure it's not damaged and properly connected.

Reset Power Settings:

  • Unplug the printer's power cord from the outlet and the back of the printer.
  • Wait for about 10–15 minutes to let any residual power drain.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer first, then into the wall outlet, and see if it turns on.

Try a Different Power Source: You’ve already tried different outlets, but if possible, test the printer in a different room or building to rule out any local electrical issues.

Perform a Power Button Reset:

  • With the printer unplugged, hold down the power button for 30–60 seconds to fully drain the printer of any remaining power.
  • Plug the printer back in and press the power button.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
