Hi @Rias4ru,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out! The HP Envy 6055e does not have a PIN printed under the tray or on the back because HP uses a Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) PIN or a printer claim code for setup, depending on the method.

Here’s what you can do:

Option 1: Find the WPS PIN

  1. On the printer’s control panel, press the Wireless button or go to Settings → Network Setup → Wireless Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi Protected Setup → PIN.
  3. The printer will display an 8-digit WPS PIN on the screen. Use this to connect via your router’s WPS settings.

Option 2: Find the Printer Claim Code

If you’re using HP Smart:

  1. Make sure the printer is connected to Wi-Fi.
  2. Open HP Smart App → Printer Settings → Web Services.
  3. Enable Web Services and note the claim code (looks like xxxxxx@hpeprint.com).

Option 3: Use HP Smart App Without PIN

  • Download HP Smart on your Windows 11 laptop.
  • Add the printer by following the on-screen instructions. The app will guide you through connecting without needing a physical PIN.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
