HP Recommended

Just ordered the HP M254dw for $219 CAD ($165 USD). It seems to have great reviews, but I'm wondering if anyone has hands on experience? I'll be using it for university assignments, and my wife is a teacher so she may occasionally use it. Also, I have an HP inkjet (switched because ink always dries up before I can print much of anything) that has a scanner. After reading about cell phone scanning apps I decided I no longer need a dedicated scanner; should I keep the old HP around just to use it for scanning? Or are the cell phone apps good enough? I doubt I would ever scan docs that contain more than 5-10 pages, and I would rather not have another machine laying around.

Get yourself an additional warranty for 3 years.
