HP LaserJet Pro P1102 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP LaserJet P1102 does not print. Serial number [Personal Information Removed]. A message appears when trying to install the driver in Device Manager
The driver cannot be installed because it either does not contain a digital signature or is not signed correctly. Contact your hardware vendor.
I don't know how to find a hardware supplier for HP printer drivers.

Thank you for your answer.

Hi @Magistr01,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an installation issue with your HP LaserJet Pro P1102 Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

To assist better:

  • Are you the administrator of this PC?
  • Do you have any pending Windows updates? ( Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates. If updates are available, install them)
  • Where did you download the drivers from?
  • Do you have any unused HP printers still added to the PC?

While you respond to that, Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

Update the printer firmware

  • Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
  • Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

If the issue persists, then please try creating a new user account and then try to download the drivers and install them: Software and drivers for HP LaserJet Pro P1102 Printer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
