Check Print Settings (Margins and Paper Size)
- In the app you are printing from, click File > Print.
- Open Options, Printer Setup, Preferences, or Paper Type/Quality / Media & Quality (name varies by program).
- Set top and bottom margins to at least 13 mm (0.5") or higher.
- Make sure the paper size setting matches the actual paper in the tray (for example, Letter vs. A4).
- Click OK or Apply to save the changes, then print again.
What is the exact printer model?
What operating system: Windows? Linux? MacOS? I have 0 experience with MacOS.
Printing using HP Smart? HP App? Word? Adobe?
Note that HP App has replaced HP Smart and the Print and Scan doctor is not to be used as it has a security problem.
