Toner 106a to be used 107w printer hp laser

I recently purchased a printer HP laser 107w in Saudi Arabia, when changing the toner cartridge with 106A. It didn't work and gave an error the toner was not compatible.  please advise

1. Since when are you facing this issue

2. Have you made any changes on your printer post that this issue raised and have you observed any light blinking on the display and error code 

3. May I know if you are using genuine cartridge's
4.May I know the operating system windows or Mac OS?
5. Could you please elaborate on the issue?
6. May I know if you have changed the region?
