Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw

I have updated the software on the printer and I wish I hadn’t bothered. The printer does not see my cartridges and displays ???? The cartridges are not HP but they did work perfectly well before the update. I have looked in various places for the old firmware but none of the links work. Has anyone any ideas please?
