HP ColorLaserJet 5500dtn

Hello.

I have just cleaned the transferbelt in my ColorLaserJet-5500dtn and then I try to print again (see picture).

The result is the coloured lines on the paper and the transferbelt is again dirty (i.e. a lot of toner on it, see picture))

So there is something making the transferbelt dirty. But what?

What should I do next to identify the problem/clean/repair the printer?

As you can see, the toner cartridges have some dirt on them when the lid is opened just before closing (see picture)

Can that be the issue/acctual problem?

Or is the toner coming from somewhere else?

Edit: Seem to be a problem uploading the images.

These models collect waste toner in either the cartridge or the transfer belt. However if the transfer belt was the problem you would have muddy streaks not a pure magenta defect. Cartridge, there really is no 1% with this defect.

99% it is going to be a bad magenta cartridge

To exclude the 1% chance it is not the magenta cartridge, is there something else I can check before buying a new cartridge?

Like if there is a collector for excess toner or something else?

Solved it by getting new cartridges. Thanks.
