I have an instant ink account on a printer that still has 270 pages left to use until the middle of the month.  How do I transfer this to the HP printer in my second home?

Hi @rianco,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand you want to transfer your HP Instant Ink subscription from one printer to another while keeping the remaining pages. Let’s go through the steps:

1. Check Your Current Printer Status

Make sure your current printer is connected to the internet and linked to your HP Instant Ink account.

Note the number of remaining pages and your billing cycle date.

2. Add Your New Printer

Go to the HP Instant Ink website.

Log in with your HP account.

Navigate to Manage My Devices → Add a Printer.

Follow the instructions to register your new printer to your account.

3. Transfer Your Subscription

Once the new printer is added, select Transfer Plan / Change Printer.

HP Instant Ink will move the subscription from your old printer to the new one.

Your remaining pages and billing cycle will remain active with the new printer.

4. Remove Old Printer (Optional)

If you no longer want to use the old printer with Instant Ink:

Go to Manage My Devices.

Select the old printer → Remove / Deactivate.

5. Confirm on the New Printer

Ensure the new printer is connected to the internet.

Print a test page to verify that the subscription is active and remaining pages are accessible.

I hope this helps.
