HP LaserJet Pro M118dw

Can I print on transparency film using the M118dw?

In the printer driver (Version 8.00.1329.6503), I can select paper types like “Plain”, “Labels”, “Recycled” and “Velium”, but there is no option for transparency film (see screenshots I’ve added).

In the index of the HP user manual there is mentioned “transparencies”, leading to paper type selection, so I assume there should be an option for it in the driver’s drop-down box.

Should I select one of the other options? I don’t want to risk damaging the printer.

Hi @MaSch68

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you want to know about the paper type the printer can print,  I'm here to help you today.

Nom i am afraid  it doesn't print transparencies and in manul this word is mentioned under iNDEX not under paper type .

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
