I am having real problems printing labels from MS Word.  I've put in the correct Avery code for the labels I want to print but only the top half are lined up properly.  Is there a way of using the top paper feed on this printer?  Will that sort my problem or do I need to alter my margins?  I am confused.  Never had problems printing labels before but it is the first time trying with this printer.  Aaaagh! Please help!

Not sure how you'd use the Automatic Document Feeder for this - Printing draws paper from the paper tray.

The paper type (kind of paper) should be adjusted to tell the printer to expect "thicker" paper.

The paper size and type must be compatible - this is easier when the label paper is standard sized (A4 or Letter).

Example Spec sheet

Product Specifications for the HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 All-in-One Printer (1KR65B)

Media types
Plain Paper, HP Photo Papers, HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper, HP Matte Presentation Paper, HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper, other Photo Inkjet Papers, other Matte Inkjet Papers, other Glossy Inkjet Papers, Thick Plain Paper, Light/Recycled Plain Paper, HP Tri-fold Brochure Paper, Glossy

Assuming the Full Feature Software (full driver) is installed,

Printer features are available in the Printing Preferences (called as Printer Properties from within Word).

Select paper type = Brochure matte or Professional paper or Thicker Paper (as available)

Word > File > Print

Adjust the settings in the main print menu, including Paper Size

Click to open Printer Properties

Select Printing shortcut "Everyday printing" or similar

Tab Paper / Quality > Select Paper type = Brochure or Professional Paper

Check for the Paper Tray setting and select the Source / Paper Tray for the paper you are using

Click OK to save change and leave the Printer Properties menu

When ready, Click to Print

What else?

Export your Word document to PDF

Print using Adobe Reader DC

Example - Label Print - PDF

Reminder:  Select Paper size for your region / label sheet
