HP Envy 6000 series

I have trouble printing files in colour on my new HP Envy...

When opening a document on my Macbook and going to print, I select print in colour and change various other settings (for example I'm currently wanting to print multipages on a page) and when I print it comes out in greyscale. Despite the greyscale option definitely not being ticked. The preview shows in colour too.

Advanced print set up colour management shows the colour profile is working RGB.

So I tried to print from HP Smart - that does print in colour but does not give the option to do multi-page on one page printing! I can't find any settings within the print document function to do anything other than a single page scaled to a single page.

Please help!

I had the same problem on my old printer and thought it was the printer. But clearly not!

Hi @KittCatt,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

I understand that you are facing issues with printing multiple pages.

Well, when I checked, this printer shows no drivers for your current OS. which indicates compatibility issues.

If your HP Envy 6000 Series printer is not printing multiple pages in color, there are a few things you can check:

Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer settings on your computer or mobile device are set to print in color. Check the print settings before sending the print job.

Ink Levels: Verify that the color ink cartridges have sufficient ink. Low ink levels can cause the printer to default to black-and-white printing.

Print Driver: Make sure that you have the latest print driver installed for your printer. You can download the latest driver from the HP website.

Printer Software: Check the printer software settings on your computer. There may be an option to select color printing for multiple pages.

Printer Hardware: Restart your printer to reset any internal settings that may be causing the issue.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
