To install your HP Envy Inspire 7995e wireless printer, follow these steps:
1. Unbox and Set Up the Printer
- Remove all packing materials and tape.
- Install the ink cartridges and load paper into the input tray.
2. Connect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- Turn on the printer.
- On the printer’s control panel, go to the Network or Wireless settings.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to connect to your Wi-Fi network. Enter your Wi-Fi password if prompted.
3. Download and Install HP Smart App
- Windows:
- Go to the Microsoft Store and search for HP Smart or download it from the HP website.
- Mac:
- Download the HP Smart app from the Mac App Store.
4. Add the Printer in the HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app and create an account or sign in.
- The app should automatically detect your printer. If not, click on the + sign to add the printer manually.
- Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
5. Install Drivers
- The HP Smart app usually installs the necessary drivers. Ensure that you follow any prompts to complete the driver installation.
6. Print a Test Page
- Once the setup is complete, print a test page from the app to ensure everything is working correctly.
7. Troubleshooting (if needed)
- If the printer isn’t found:
- Ensure it is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- Restart your printer and router.
- Make sure the printer is powered on and has paper and ink.
