I have had a HP account for years. I still get emails to that account. When I try to log in I get a message that I need to change my password and a link will be sent to my email. But that never happens. I have had to open up another account under a differnt email but I dont get the same info sent to that account. Is there any humans that work at HP because their AI is worthless and because I also have an out of warrenty product evidently I'm not entitled to human contact.

Is there some way to speak and change the email associated with my original account.

Thanks

Willy

Hi  @WillydaBear,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I completely understand how  this must feel  especially when you’ve been a long-time HP account holder and suddenly can’t access the information you’re used to.

Could you please share the model number of your HP product? Even though it’s out of warranty, knowing the model helps us guide you to the right support path.

Here are a few  steps you can try right away:

  1. Check spam/junk folders: Sometimes password reset emails get filtered out by mistake.
  2. Try a different browser: Occasionally, cached data or browser settings interfere with login flows.
  3. Clear cookies/cache: This can refresh the login session and allow the reset link to come through.
  4. Update account email: If you still have access to your original email inbox, You can try accessing with the help of the https://support.hp.com/in-en/help/hp-account

I hope this helps.

One of the products I'm currently using is a HP Officejet Pro 8720. I don't need support for it or any other device.

What I want to do is regain access to my original HP account. For some reason the link to reset my password doesn't work and it's not in spam etc.

I've done all that you have mentioned below including the link provided.

I've chatted with AI to no avail.

Obviously, my original account is locked and I would appreciate assistance.

I have established a secondary account with a different email but the info sent to my original account is vastly different.

Thanks,
